Reviewing Voice of Bragg

Voiceofbragg just made a review contest. He is offering $50 for the best review. This is a chance for you who have new blog to get some exposure and free backlink. You can view the contest here. I'll do some review here and hoping my input can make the blog better. You can also learn from other people blog too.

At first visit to voiceofbragg.com I don't like the header. I think it is too white. I think it should have some color like orange. The menu is definately having trouble too. It has too much menus. I'm using Firexfox 3.05, and when I hover my mouse the menu is getting worse. I think he should fix the CSS.
He has good content for his blog, and he could make it better by using tags for all of his post. Can can get more page indexed on Google by having tags, because each tag will represent one page. In the lower page, I see It also have "Voice Of Bragg Readers", a mybloglog box. I don't know why the box header turns into white. There must be some kind of problem too there. One more, the comment box should have captcha too to tackle spam.

The best thing I like from the blog is how he manage to brand the blog, by using a "Voice of Bragg" image in the header, the "Voice Of Bragg Readers" box, and using the term "VoB". He
can add more branding by using an favicon for his blog.

Blog review contest

Directsaleswebmarketing.com has made a review contest. Here is taken from his blog about the contest:

It’s pretty straight forward. My other two blogs; DennisEdell.com & EasyCashContests.com are brand new, and you are to write the best review you can for both (1 post/2 reviews).

Here’s the kicker to make it interesting…..since both blogs are so new, you must rely on only your ingenuity, creativity, and the individual “About Me” pages on each blog. I’m NOT looking for “cheerleaders” or a “plug” as they say, I want honest reviews. If you do find anything “wrong”, then add it. However you must also add your thoughts on how to “fix” the issue(s). Ex: if you don’t like the colors, suggest new ones.

The one thing you MUST include in the beginning of the review is a reference to me, Dennis Edell, and this blog DirectSalesWebMarketing, for authority reasons. Otherwise you’re just reviewing 2 strange new blogs. LOL.
